Isaiah Projects is a Christ centered charitable organization, working in partnership with local leaders in third world countries to help fund infrastructural development projects that will significantly impact the lives of the local people. Projects are selected on the basis of how they will offer hope and improve the quality of life for individuals with a bias towards helping the young and most needy in society. Iprojects funds the construction of schools, orphanages, youth centres and other projects which empower youth to become leaders in their own communities therefore enabling them to have a positive influence in the area where they live.

Sometime bricks CAN be the most important building block in life.

Construction Update - March 5th 2009

iProjects is pleased to announce that excellent progress is being made on the new girl’s home in Puerto Maldonado, Peru. Despite heavy rains a work crew of three has been able to clear an area of land large enough for the first phase of the home to be built.

This month will also see the completion of a gravel road into the work site. The next phase of development will be the construction of a 3 metre square concrete room which will be used to house a commercial generator on the property and for storage of tools and a cement mixer. The generator is necessary to pump water from the well and to supply power for power tools. There is currently no power grid in this area of Peru. Money is now being raised to drill the well which will provide the water needed for construction and also to supply the whole girl’s home complex. The cost of the well and submersible pump is 11,000 Nuevo sols which equates to approximately $4,400. If you would like to support this project please follow the link (link to donations page). We would like to have the well in place before the arrival of a Canadian mission team at the end of April 2009.
